Tragedy tomorrow, comedy tonight! Stone Church Players (aka SCP) is thrilled to present “Comedy Tonight”, A Musical Fundraiser, featuring a hilarious lineup of live musical performances at the historic All Saints’ Memorial Church in Atlantic Highlands, NJ. “Comedy Tonight” will be held Saturday, April 6th at 7:30 pm and Sunday April 7th at 2 pm. All proceeds from the event will benefit the ‘All Enter As One’ project sponsored by the All Saints’ National Landmark Trust, Inc.
The Landmark Trust is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation founded for the purpose of seeking, receiving and disbursing funds contributed to the Trust for the maintenance and preservation of the historic landmark property of All Saints' Memorial Church buildings and grounds. The ‘All Enter As One’ project will install a permanent, handicap accessible ramp at the main entrance to the narthex of All Saints' Church. This project will include exterior landscape, demolition, ramps, retaining walls, railings, lighting and drainage. Members of the Landmark Trust will speak briefly during the event about the importance of this great cause.
Directed by Caitlin Martin, the event will feature Mike Kabash on keyboard and a cast of 9 wonderfully talented singers and actors, a mix of SCP alumni and some exciting new faces. The program will feature a diverse selection of musical comedy songs presented as solos, duets, and group numbers.
Cast: Brittany Ahr, Christine Jay, Victoria Leigh, Felicia Russell, Lizzy Stefanic, Greg Brooks, John Durazzo, Aaron “Juice” Jackson, and Brenden Kortenhaus.
Running time: 1 hour, 10 minutes with one 15 minute intermission. General admission tickets are priced at $25. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at scp.booktix.com (includes a small service fee) or purchased at the door (cash preferred). Seating is first come, first served. Concessions will be available for purchase (cash preferred). Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime.
